Life changing
Everyone has a life changing moment that can either reflex upon you in a negative way
or positive way. A time in my life Iv’e come to my seance’s was a life and death situation that
accursed in my family. My closest grandmother had passed away when I was at the age of 18,
years old. She was the closest family relative Iv’e come to thresher dearly in my heart. She was
a wonderful, caring most hubble person I’d ever known. I can remember the times of hardship
that became an infection in my life or the memorable memories I shared with her. She was like
my mother you can say someone who automatically can open you up with out a force of
explanation.
It was that time I looked at life in a way to really appreciate those I truly care for around
me. My grandmother by the name of, Bea G. was only 70 years old when she had passed away
from lung cancer. A highly nicotine object that kills billions of people as time goes by now,
cigarettes. She was a chain smoker there wouldn’t be a moment I’d see here with our a cigarette
in her hand. Even so that I knew what the effects where and how highly life risking it was
to people I was unable to put a stop to her bad habit.
I can remember times I’ve tried to explain to her the effects of smoking how if effects the
body and lungs. It’s was difficult to explain to someone who’s been smoking most there lives,
Its almost as if I were explaining to a child of playing with there food. Though I loved her so
and cared about her health there were times I would see new packs of cigarettes lying around. My
only attempt was to trash them away as if they were never seen lying around. Though at times
trying to convince her and the changes that became exitance to my attention she was getting
ill.
I couldn’t imagine the feeling of seeing her pass away from her bad habits in a way I began
to chance myself. Becoming so caring and giving her the attention she needed and help to be sure
she’d attend her doctor appointments for check up. I was believing I was becoming her mother as
she was towards myself. An unbearable feeling I held upon me wishing I had a cure to remove
all the damage and affection in her lungs. Though Im no, God to have the power to cure my
grandmother, but I had to except reality that she was dieing.
It’s everyones fear is losing that someone special in your life though all we can do is hope
and come to our prayers for those to get well. With all the coughing and grasping for air hearing
her wheezing as she’d walk around. Its was a matter of time that I knew deep down inside her
life line was close to an end. A day that I was a work was when I had received a phone call from
my mother explaining that my grandmother was at the, St. Jhons hospital. My heart dropped
unable to hold myself together at work I had broken down in tiers. I was dismissed from my
work to attend the hospital where my grandmother was rested for recovery. When I had arrived
at the hospital rushing inside I asked what room my grandmother was in. As I had found the
room I began to cry holding her begging her to, “ quit smoking.”
There was nothing I could do feeling so helpless and sorrow inside It was now up to the
nurses and doctors to watch other my grandmother. She was held there for a week straight
because of her condition, but then after my family had gotten the notice that she wasn’t
going to live much longer. I couldn’t handle anymore of what was going on or what was
about to happen, by the time I knew It she had passed away the next morning. Though I loved her
so I had A change in heart to encourage those who need help those who are blinded by there
bad habits. She will always have that effect and impact in my life of being the voice
that will be heard a voice of help.
i have also tried to change the bad habits of people around me, but when i stop and think as if i was in their shoes, it is very difficult to make that CHANGE.
ReplyDeleteNo one wants to see their loved ones move on but if you really want to change you need a lot of guts to leave your existing habits.
ReplyDeleteWhat a load of BS...LoL. Look your grandma magically lived to be over 70! hahahaha.
